Moovv is now Moov. The name is shorter, but the idea behind it is clearer: bringing movement closer and making it easier to come back, day after day, for everyone.

Moovv is now Moov. We are still the same company, with the same team and the same care for the people who use our products.
What changes is how clearly we bring our mission forward:
- A shorter name: Moovv becomes Moov.
- A clearer mission: we don’t just help you start moving, but also help you come back.
- A new collection: first choose how you want to move: walking or running.
- The same support: existing products, warranties and support remain in place.
A new name. A clearer next step.
Why Moovv is now called Moov
Moovv was the beginning. The name belonged to the first products, the first customers and the first steps we took as a brand.
As Moov grew, it also became clearer why we exist. Not just to make a treadmill for home. Not just to help people start moving once. We want to give movement a place in the life that is already happening.
During a phone call. Between two appointments. When the children are asleep. Or on a day when going outside simply doesn’t fit.
That calls for a name that feels simple and direct. So one letter disappeared. Moovv became Moov.
The name became shorter. The mission stayed and became clearer.

The story behind the two o’s
The two o’s in Moov are more than a shape in the logo. They stand for two moments that together determine whether movement becomes part of your day.
The first helps you start.
The second helps you come back.
Moov treadmills bring movement into your home. Close enough to step on when ten minutes open up. Visible enough to think of it again later.
As a brand, we are also building a broader system of support around repetition, feedback and coming back. Digital support and community are part of that future, but will only be offered as functionality when they are actually available.
The two o’s move together. Starting and returning. Product and support. One step today. Another tomorrow.
Our mission: Keep moving
Modern life asks very little movement of us. Work happens behind a screen. Short distances become car journeys. The lift is there before you think about taking the stairs.
Movement doesn’t disappear all at once. It gradually moves further into the background throughout the day.
That isn’t just a matter of motivation or discipline. Your environment plays a part. What is far away is easier to postpone. What is visible and close by is more likely to be used.
That is why Moov brings movement back to the place where your day already happens. Not as a replacement for walking outdoors, sport or the gym. As an addition for the moments that would otherwise pass by sitting down.
For us, Keep moving doesn’t mean you have to keep going all the time. A routine can be interrupted. A busy week counts too. Coming back is not starting over.
Movement doesn’t need to be big to matter. It needs to be close enough to begin and simple enough to return to.
56% of people in the Netherlands don’t move enough
In 2022, 44.3% of the Dutch population aged four and older met the Physical Activity Guidelines. Rounded, that means 56% did not move enough.
Worldwide, around 1.8 billion adults did not meet the recommended levels of physical activity in 2022. According to the World Health Organization, insufficient physical activity increases the risk of several noncommunicable diseases.
These figures describe a big problem. The solution often starts small. A walk during a conversation. A few minutes between tasks. Movement that doesn’t sit outside your life, but fits into it.
A word from our founder
“My goal in life is to keep people moving.”
For founder Mickey Woodley, that mission didn’t come from a perfectly mapped-out business plan. It grew from personal periods in which slowing down, vulnerability and reconnecting became central.
At first, success was mainly about visible results. Growing, building and proving. Periods of panic, anxiety and an existential crisis changed that perspective. The question was no longer: what can become big? It became: what genuinely helps people?
When researching movement, something stood out. People often know that movement is important. Yet it slips out of sight when work, commuting, care responsibilities and low energy fill the day.
That is where Moov began. Not with the idea that people need to be pushed harder, but with a different question: how can we design the circumstances so that movement becomes easier to start and easier to return to?
That question still forms the foundation of every product and every next step.
The new collection: walking or running?
The new collection doesn’t start with a long list of technical specifications. It starts with what you want to do.
Do you mainly want to walk, or do you also want to run?
Then you choose whether automatic incline fits the way you want to use your treadmill. This creates a clear collection of four models.
Moov Walk
Moov Walk is made for walking and light jogging at speeds up to 8 kilometres per hour. Its compact running surface suits everyday movement: during a conversation, after dinner or between two tasks.

Moov Walk Plus
Moov Walk Plus adds automatic incline up to 15% to walking and light jogging. This lets you bring more variation into the same movement moment without having to move faster.

Moov Run
Moov Run is designed for walking, jogging and running at speeds up to 14 kilometres per hour. The 120 by 44 centimetre running surface gives your stride more room as your pace increases.

Moov Run Plus
Moov Run Plus combines walking, jogging and running with automatic incline up to 15%. You choose what fits in that moment: a calm walk, a flat running session or a route with more variation.
All options stay open. You set the pace.

Do you have a Moovv SmartStep?
SmartStep belongs to our former product range. If you still have a Moovv treadmill from the SmartStep series at home, it will continue to be supported.
Your product doesn’t change because of our new name. Your existing warranty remains valid according to the terms that applied to your purchase. Manuals, maintenance information and help with problems also remain available.
